Laser acupuncture

What is laser acupuncture ?

Acupuncture is a therapeutic method derived from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).  The term is composed of "acus" (Latin for needle) and "punctura" (Latin for pricking) and this describes the technique of this healing method.

At well-defined points on the meridians or along the meridians, small needles are inserted through the skin. Using different acupuncture techniques energetic imbalances within the body should be balanced or specific organ systems stimulated or subdued.
In TCM, the human body is considered as a unity of body, mind and psyche. This means that health is determined by our thoughts and feelings, and vice-versa. The teachings of TCM are based on the assumption that nature exists through a permanent interplay of two opposing forces:

YIN and YANG

Yang means in its original sense "the sunny side of the mountain", while Yin stands for the "shadow side of the mountain".

Other paired terms of Yin and Yang, which symbolise the necessary poles, are, for example:

     Earth-Sky
     Hot-Cold
     Valley-Mountain
     Low-High
     Moon-Sun
     Dark-Light
     Weak-Strong
     Woman-Man
YIN and YANG

In a healthy body there is a balance between Yin and Yang. The interplay of the two forces reinforces the flow of energy and leads to the enrichment of vital energy - Qi. If one of the two forces predominates this results in a "Qi disturbance" in the sense of energy overflow or an energy deficiency. This manifests itself in malaise, fatigue or illness. Using acupuncture disturbances of the energy flow can be rectified. This can be done in terms of increasing or decreasing the Yin and Yang. In "European", this means that too much or too little energy is compensated in certain regions of the body.
